Anion F − substitution in MgAl 2 O 4 :Fe 3+ boosting IQE from 66.3% to 96.5% and tuning broadband NIR emission (740–770 nm). A 365 nm-excited pc-LED delivers 5.74 mW for night vision and bio-imaging.
