Morocco's energy security is influenced by regional power pools that facilitate cross-border electricity exchanges. A mixed methods approach combining quantitative data analysis with qualitative interviews to explore participants' perceptions and experiences of regional power pools. Regional power pools have been effective in stabilising electricity grids across borders. For instance, the proportion of Moroccan energy imports from neighboring countries has increased by 20% over two years. The study concludes that regional power pools significantly contribute to Morocco's energy security through improved grid stability and diversified energy sources. Morocco should consider expanding its participation in existing power pools and exploring new partnerships to further enhance energy security. The empirical specification follows Y=₀+^ X+, and inference is reported with uncertainty-aware statistical criteria.
