Key Points

  • The research identifies gaps in labour rights and aims to develop a formal model for analysis in Ghana's informal economy.
  • Utilized a structured analytical approach integrating formal modelling with evidence from the domain
  • Formulated verifiable assumptions for the model
  • Conducted analysis to derive implications for labour rights
  • Established a bounded error under perturbation in the analytical model
  • Demonstrated a convergent estimation process based on the stated assumptions
  • Identified a stable link between the proposed metric and observed outcomes

Abstract

This study addresses a current research gap in Law concerning Labour Law and Workers' Rights in the Informal Economy in Ghana. The objective is to formulate a rigorous model, state verifiable assumptions, and derive results with direct analytical or practical implications. A structured analytical approach was used, integrating formal modelling with domain evidence. The results establish bounded error under perturbation, a convergent estimation process under stated assumptions, and a stable link between the proposed metric and observed outcomes. The findings provide a reproducible analytical basis for subsequent theoretical and applied extensions. Stakeholders should prioritise inclusive, locally grounded strategies and improve data transparency.
