Abstract

This article examines the growing gap between the rate of human professional adaptation and the pace of labor market transformation in the context of artificial intelligence development. Based on a systematic literature review, we demonstrate that the traditional "one profession—one lifetime" model is undergoing fundamental changes: according to World Economic Forum (2023) forecasts, by 2030, 23% of all jobs will undergo significant transformation, and the average period of professional skill relevance will shrink to 2–5 years. As a potential solution, we propose the concept of pharmacological modulation of neuroplasticity using natural neurotrofic compounds, specifically Hericium erinaceus (Lion's Mane mushroom). We systematize research data showing that bioactive components of this mushroom can stimulate nerve growth factor (NGF) synthesis and enhance brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) expression, which may help restore juvenile patterns of neuroplasticity. The article presents an original research program for verifying the hypothesis that accelerated human professional readaptation is possible through targeted modulation of cerebral plasticity.
