Abstract Chronic diseases, also known as non-communicable diseases (NCDs), are the leading cause of morbidity and mortality globally. These conditions, including cardiovascular disease, cancer, chronic respiratory diseases, and diabetes, progress slowly and are largely preventable through lifestyle modifications. This article explores the global burden of chronic diseases, their risk factors,socioeconomic impact, and current strategies for prevention and management.
