Abstract

Topology has become an essential tool in mathematics with significant applications in theoretical computer science, particularly through its interplay with algebraic structures. Algebraic topology, which investigates the relationship between topological spaces and groups, allows the translation of complex topological problems into more tractable algebraic forms, while conversely enabling algebraic concepts to be interpreted topologically. Building on this framework, we introduce the concept of m-topological transformation semigroups, a novel approach that integrates topological principles into semigroup theory. Our work focuses on transformation semigroups, especially finite partial transformation semigroups, which are functions mapping a set to itself. By equipping these semigroups with topological properties, the m-topological transformation semigroup framework provides a new perspective for analyzing and solving problems in semigroup theory. This study demonstrates the potential of combining topological methods with algebraic structures, opening avenues for further exploration in both mathematical theory and computational applications
