This study examined the combined effect of burnout and locus of control on examination anxiety among Godfrey Okoye University undergraduates. Two hundred and ten participants, comprising ninety-nine males and one hundred eleven females, were randomly drawn from the undergraduate population in Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu State, Nigeria. Age of the participants is from 16 to 29 years old (M = 21.25, M = 22.13, SD = 2.24). This research employed the use of sampling technique in drawing respondents using Cluster and simple random sampling layout. The study was guided by theorizing two hypotheses. This research used three different instruments. They are the Test Anxiety Questionnaire developed by Nist & Diehl, 1990, Locus of Control Behaviour Scale by Craig Franklin & Andrew, 1984, and the School Burnout Inventory developed by Salmela-Aro et al. 2009. Results showed that to the influence of burnout resistance to the locus of control and examination anxiety was significantly predicted among undergraduates. The influence of burnout positively significantly predicted examination anxiety among undergraduates. This finding opens a discovery for practical measures from the educational agencies that is, from the Ministry of Education to university administrators strategizing on how to reduce school activities that result in burnout among their students to enable these young disabled people with education efficiently and to perform excellently.
