Abstract

Golf is not only about competing for scores but also about the satisfaction of hitting a good shot. To achieve a good shot, it is essential to use a golf club that matches the golfer's swing. While there have been numerous studies on golf clubs aimed at improving shot quality, much of the research has focused on the kick point of shafts, with relatively few studies addressing the differences in shaft mass. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of shaft mass on ball trajectory and golf club head behavior.
