This document organizes physical variables and definitions of polyelectrolyte gels, suggesting a unified reference for future work.
The six papers in the IMH series introduce a set of physical variables describing the rheological state of living polyelectrolyte gels across biological scales from the periaxonal space to the intersubjective field. These variables recur across papers with consistent meaning but without a unified reference. The present document collects all the variables, symbols, and equations of the series in one place, provides physical definitions and SI units for each, and records the paper and equation in which each variable first appears. It is intended as a working reference for the readers of the series and for experimentalists designing tests of the falsifiable predictions.
