This document is a report that presents the results of an archaeological field investigation of the 110-acre ABRES-A complex on Vandenberg Air Force Base (AFB). It was conducted as part of an EIS for the proposed Kinetic Energy Anti-Satellite (KE ASAT) Program. Record searches and consultation with base personnel showed no previous archaeological surveys within the ABRES-A complex. High densities of previously recorded sites in proximity to the complex suggested that cultural resources were likely present. Two new archaeological sites along with two isolated artifacts were recorded. No impacts to these resources was anticipated from the KE ASAT project.
