Abstract

Objectives: This study aimed to develop an AI-powered conversational assistant to automate orthodontic scheduling, patient reminders, and treatment monitoring. Methods: The system integrates Google GenAI with modular workflow nodes including calendar scheduling, CRM updates, messaging APIs, and progress monitoring through image analysis. Results: The system successfully automated appointment scheduling, hygiene reminders, aligner change alerts, progress monitoring, and compliance nudges, reducing administrative workload and improving patient adherence. Conclusions: AI-based automation offers scalable digital solutions for enhancing orthodontic patient engagement and workflow efficiency.
