This presentation was done on the ocassion of the ocassion of the workshop "Linking Data and Digitizations for Medieval Manuscripts" (Fribourg, University of Fribourg, 3-4 February 2026). The workshop was organised within the frame of the "e-codices – linked Open Research Data" (July 2025-June 2026) project granted to Wiliam Duba (University of Fribourg) through the swissuniverisities Open Research Data funding program. The presentation adresses the theme of the development and progress ORD tsunami in Switzerland and at the interface with European initiatives, the impact of Switzerland’s participation in ERICs on the uptake of ORD practices, and the SSH as the early ORD laboratory. Finally, the presentations focuses on three case studies: (i) DARIAH ERIC and DARIAH-CH, (ii) SSHOC-CH, and (iii) EOSC and SENPro.
