An Application of the Dieudonné Determinant: Detecting Non-Tame Automorphisms

ZÖZ. ÖzkurtNEN. EkiciCukurova University

Key Points

  • The aim is to develop a method for detecting non-tame automorphisms using the Dieudonné determinant.
  • Utilized the Dieudonné determinant as a detection criterion
  • Constructed specific examples of non-tame automorphisms
  • Focused on free metabelian and free Lie algebras
  • Successfully detected non-tame automorphisms through the proposed criterion
  • Created concrete instances of such automorphisms in the specified algebras

Abstract

We show how to detect non-tame automorphisms by using a criterion which is based on the Dieudonn determinant and we construct some specific non-tame automorphisms of free metabelian Lie algebras and free Lie algebras of the form F/ m (F ) .
