Examines real forms of dual pairs in complex Lie algebras of types E6, E7, and E8, indicating embeddings in larger structures.
Let g be a complex Lie algebra of type E 6 , E 7 or E 8 and let g 2 h be a dual pair in g.In this paper, we look for possible real forms of g 2 h.It turns out that for each n and for all real forms, say a 0 h 0 of g 2 h , there exists a real form g 0 of g such that a 0 h 0 embedds into g 0 .The full description is given in Theorem 3.1.
