The article continues studying the heritage of Vasily Mikhailovich Chichkov, a special correspondent for the newspaper Pravda in Latin America and the author of journalistic and fiction works. It considers the influences of the Cuban Revolution of 1959 and the Chilean Revolution of 1970–1973 on Chichkovs views, as well as his contribution to the formation of the Soviet image of these landmark events in twentieth-century Latin American history.
