This research demonstrates how magnetic anisotropy affects saturation magnetization in cubic single crystals, suggesting important implications for their magnetic properties.
In magnetic materials, there is a difference between the saturation magnetization along the easy magnetization axis and the hard magnetization axis. In uniaxial ferromagnets, this difference can be significant, up to 20% in some cases. This anisotropy of saturation magnetization must be taken into account when describing magnetization curves and when determining the constants of magnetocrystalline anisotropy and anisotropy fields. In this paper, we present the angular dependencies of the saturation magnetization for ferromagnets with cubic crystal symmetry. It is shown how anisotropy of saturation magnetization affects anisotropy fields in cubic single crystals. The main methodological features that must be considered in order to experimentally confirm established patterns are presented.
