Teachers are among the primary agent of implementing education and training recent reforms together with the Tanzania Development Vision 2050 (Dira, 2050) broad goals. The aim of this review focuses on the guiding question that: How should teachers serve the nation ethically in a rapid transforming society, burdened with numerous socio-economic issues, and still make the Dira 2050 achievable? The purpose is to bring awareness to education and training stakeholders on the manner of executing duties in the 21st century era. Extensive literature review covers two areas of study. The national visionary matters together with teaching profession and ethics. Literature assisted in understanding the Dira 2050 as an empowerment tool for teaching profession and ethics. The Human capital theory and the Deontological theory informed the review. The information was generated by adopting the Wellington’s data enquiry framework. Textual analysis method was used to understand the textual examples of ethical values emerged from the Dira 2050. Thus, Dira 2050 inspires teachers to accommodate new reforms in the sector of education and training, alongside Dira’s 2050 broad goals, while remaining professional, ethical, and responsible to the nation. A conclusion was made that teachers have great opportunity to make the Dira 2050 achievable.
