Dentine dysplasia type 1 (DD1) is a rare, hereditary dental anomaly characterized by normal-appearing crowns, short or absent roots, obliterated pulp chambers and peri-apical radiolucencies. This case report describes a 19-year-old woman with multiple missing anterior teeth, generalized microdontia and anterior open bite. Radiographic evaluation revealed characteristic features of DD1, including short, conical roots and taurodontism-like appearance in molars. A positive family history was noted, with her sister exhibiting similar dental anomalies. This report underscores the importance of comprehensive clinical and radiographic assessment in diagnosing DD1 and highlights the need for early intervention and multidisciplinary management. CPD/Clinical Relevance: It is useful to be aware of the clinical and radiographic features of radicular dentine dysplasia.
