Explores how a magnetic field alters the photo-thermocapillary effect in magnetic colloids, implying potential for controlled applications.
We studied the features of the photo-thermocapillary effect in magnetic colloids. The effect of the magnetic field on the manifestation of the effect in such media was studied, the features of changing the size and shape of the thermocapillary response depending on the dimensional parameters of the cell with the sample were established. A conclusion is made about the possibility of successful control of the effect using a magnetic field.
