Metagenomic analysis reveals microbial composition and functional insights in soybean rhizosphere, suggesting agricultural applications.
Summary statement We performed metagenomic sequencing to analyze the microbial composition and functional profiles of the rhizosphere microbiome in the soybean cultivar Dongsheng 7 grown in black soil at Meilisi, Northeast China. Furthermore, we constructed a microbial genome database and isolated endophytic bacteria from root nodules, providing support for further research and potential applications of the soybean‐rhizobia symbiotic nitrogen fixation system.
