Conclusion illustrates the assembly of butsudan components to enhance understanding of family altars.
After a detailed description of the processes used in construction of the individual parts of a butsudan this final section illustrates how the whole butsudan is put together. The details are necessarily complicated so it is our hope that the photos will stand on their own and clearly show the stages and final results. We also hope that Japanese people will make use of this section to understand something of how their own family altars are made.
