Researchers demonstrate C–H amination of electron-rich arenes using novel photocatalysts, suggesting efficient methods for organic synthesis.
A range of fused quinoline-based photocatalysts were designed via the Povarov reaction. Upon in situ protonation with protic acid, these photocatalysts catalyze the C(sp 2 )–H amination of electron-rich arenes with azoles.
