The presence of contributions of New Physics to loop-diagram-induced b s ss transitions can lead to a noticeable deviation of the indirect CP-violation parameter in {B^0} {K^0} decays from predictions by the Standard Model. Furthermore, New Physics can manifest itself in the occurrence of noticeable direct CP violation in B K decays if not only the weak but also the strong phases of New Physics differ from those of the Standard Model. In this paper, we evaluate the accuracy of constraints on the New Physics parameters from recent measurements of CP-violation in B K decays.
