In this article, the authors consider the issues of diagnostics of interpersonal relations of employees of the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation. The purpose of this study is to provide a comprehensive analysis of the existing methods and techniques for identifying the characteristics of interpersonal relationships among employees of the Internal Affairs bodies of the Russian Federation (hereinafter referred to as the Internal Affairs bodies of the Russian Federation), taking into account the specifics of their professional activities. To achieve this goal, the following tasks are being solved. 1. Systematization of psychodiagnostic methods used to identify the features of interpersonal interaction. 2. Analysis and general characteristics of methods for identifying the features of interpersonal relationships. 3. Justification of the need for a comprehensive approach to psychological diagnostics of interpersonal relationships. The article analyzes individual methods and psychodiagnostic techniques used to study styles of interpersonal interaction, sociometric status, psychological climate in service teams and communicative competencies. The authors also differentiated methods for identifying the features of interpersonal relationships into the following groups: a) objectively observable methods; b) psychodiagnostic methods; c) expert methods. The proposed systematization of the above-mentioned methods allows for a more differentiated approach to their use, depending on their purpose and research objectives.The article also substantiates the need for a comprehensive approach to diagnosing interpersonal relationships in order to optimize official activities and prevent conflicts in the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation.
