For each metadata element, this provides information about the data to be collected; includes a description, source, and values; describes what skills are needed to research the element; provides a crosswalk to facilitate data sharing with the Digital Library of Georgia, RISM, and the Atla Digital Library; and includes index information associated with applications used to record and display project metadata. The Metadata Application Profile may be useful to others developing the scope of and workflows for metadata collection for a project.
