The analysis of experimental results shows that the application of relatively small magnetic fields can change the plastic properties of crystals and the kinetics of observed processes. During the exposure, a magnetoplastic effect is detected, which consists in an increase in the average path length of dislocations. The effect of temperature from 120 to 350°C and a constant magnetic field of 557.2 kA/m on the aging of aluminum alloy AK9 for 4 h has been investigated. Analysis of the results of the microstructure study, microhardness measurements, and determination of the phase composition of the aged aluminum alloy AK9 has shown that under the influence of a constant magnetic field, an increase in the plastic properties of the alloy is observed, and its structure becomes less distorted.
