Does preventive PCI in noninfarct coronary arteries with major stenoses reduce adverse cardiovascular events in patients with STEMI and multivessel coronary artery disease undergoing infarct-artery PCI?
In STEMI patients with multivessel disease, performing preventive PCI on non-infarct arteries with major stenoses significantly reduces adverse cardiovascular events compared to culprit-lesion-only PCI.
In patients with STEMI and multivessel coronary artery disease undergoing infarct-artery PCI, preventive PCI in noninfarct coronary arteries with major stenoses significantly reduced the risk of adverse cardiovascular events, as compared with PCI limited to the infarct artery.
