Most FVPTC cases were diagnosed as follicular neoplasm via pre-operative FNAC. In this study, FVPTC patients had a high ratio of distant metastases, few lymph node metastases and soft tissue invasion. Aggressive treatment was indicated for the high-risk FVPTC patients.
