Virtual agent-based interventions have been used to change user health-related attitudes and behaviors. Current virtual agents use several persuasion techniques to influence user behavior. However, most virtual agent-based interventions do not account for individual differences between users. Individual differences between users determine the effect of different persuasion strategies. My proposal aims to build a persuasive virtual agent-based mobile health intervention that adapts to individual differences in personality between college students to promote anxiety coping strategies.
