We present a new in‐situ method for the measurement of fluid phase equilibria, which offers many advantages in contrast to conventional sample techniques. To the author's knowledge, this is the first time that the vapor‐liquid‐equilibrium of a binary system is determined by measuring the concentrations in the gaseous as well as in the liquid phase by Raman spectroscopy. The isothermal data for the system cyclohexane‐toluene are compared to literature data at a temperature of T = 50°C and correlated by van Laar's equation. In addition some new data for the system mentioned above are given at temperatures of T = 60°C and T = 70°C.
