SCIMFONICOM 2020 raises public awareness about research benefits in Serbia through engaging activities.
Lighten up your mind. This is the theme of this year’s European Researchers’ Night events in Serbia. Supported by the EU-funded SCIMFONICOM 2020 project, the Faculty of Physical Chemistry and the Institute of Molecular Genetics and Genetic Engineering at the University of Belgrade will hold a range of activities in September 2020. The long list of scheduled events includes a series of interactive physical science demonstrations, a treasure hunt, visits to laboratories to see researchers in action, interactive digital media workshops, displays of EU projects and mobile science vans taking researchers to rural areas. Overall, the project’s aim is to raise public awareness about research and its benefits.
