A novel free-standing architecture with Li₃V₂(PO₄)₃ nanocubes embedded in N-doped carbon nanofibers has been successfully prepared through a facile ionic liquid-assisted electrospinning method, which exhibits an outstanding electrochemical performance including high specific capacity, stable cycling performance and superior rate capability.
