Ni-Mo alloys containing about 28 % Mo offer high corrosion resistance in very agressive media. In this paper, the electrodeposition of Ni-Mo alloy coatings was investigated and the conditions for obtaining compact and crack-free layers in direct or pulse current were determined. The morphology, crystalline state and corrosion resistance were studied as a function of the plating conditions.
