Abstract

Technology transitions — whether for a small organization or a large enterprise — are often neither easy nor enjoyable. These transitions might involve an upgrade (for example, moving from a legacy application to a modern system) or a new adoption (such as switching from a manual process to a software‐based one). Regardless of the use case, a well‐defined, carefully planned approach significantly raises the likelihood of cohesive business processes, higher productivity, fewer errors, and better integration with other systems.
