The past 70 years witnesses that China's medicine has realized the development from medical to laboratory medicine. The construction of the has undergone tremendous changes from manual workshop to standardization, automation and intelligence, and the test efficiency and test results accuracy has been greatly improved. The professional team has also grown stronger, and the education level has been continuously improved, marking the entry of China's medicine into the modern era. The article also reviews the important role of the Chinese Medical Association played in promoting the development of China's medicine in the 40 years since its establishment, and looks forward to the future development of medicine.
