Does paclitaxel-coated balloon pretreatment with BMS improve clinical and angiographic outcomes compared to everolimus DES in patients with bifurcated coronary lesions?
In bifurcated coronary lesions, pretreatment with a paclitaxel-coated balloon followed by bare-metal stenting in the main branch resulted in higher MACE rates compared to everolimus drug-eluting stents at 24 months.
pDEB bifurcation pretreatment with BMS implantation in MB showed greater LLL (ns) and increased incidence of MACE compared to everolimus DES. Both strategies showed similar results in the SB.
