Temperature-Induced Magnetic Switching In their Research Article (10.1002/adfm.202527195), Hyungyu Jin and co-workers present temperature-driven nonvolatile switching in a compensated ferrimagnetic insulator bilayer. Strong interlayer exchange coupling induces thermal hysteresis, enabling reversible spin state control without charge current. This purely thermal approach offers an energy efficient alternative to conventional current-driven switching methods such as spin-orbit torque.
