Abstract

Achieving rural health equity requires renewed policy commitment to public health within the rural health training pipeline. Enabling public health students to train in rural areas alongside clinical students offers a cost-neutral, immediately implementable step towards building a capable, community-connected, prevention-oriented rural health workforce.
