Abstract

Janus Metasurfaces In article number 2408572, Yan-Feng Wang and co-workers present a class of Janus waterborne acoustic metasurface (JWAM) enabling two-faced arbitrarily asymmetric wavefront manipulations via acoustic structure interactions. Versatile underwater acoustic functionalities, including focusing, beam splitting, and diffusion, are successfully demonstrated. The JWAM opens up a new dimension for designing advanced waterborne acoustic devices with bidirectional multifunctional integration.
