Cyclopropylation of Fullerenes Cyclopropylation of fullerenes C 60 and C 70 is achieved by a tandem process. Michael addition of a stabilized α‐halocarbanion to fullerenes followed by intramolecular substitution of the halogen yields fullerene derivatives with functional groups.
