The aim is to assess the impact of immediate lymphatic reconstruction on breast cancer-related lymphedema incidence after axillary lymph node dissection.
Conducted as a randomized controlled trial with an accrual goal of 174 patients.
Follow-up duration is 24 months post-intervention.
Preliminary results indicate a decrease in breast cancer-related lymphedema incidence after immediate lymphatic reconstruction.
