Flying cars were once the domain of science fiction, but advances in research and safety policy suggest their presence in cities might be possible in the future. While these vehicles signal a new direction for progress in urbanmobility, ethical advancement regarding this kind of travel remains significantly understudied. This article addresses this situation. It focuses on the complexity of integrating urban air mobility into existing population centers, working toward identifying an appropriate level of ethical consideration for the stakeholders it will affect. After illustrating this view, transportation professionals and policymakers can gain a more nuanced understanding of how to integrate these emerging technologies within dynamic urban infrastructure ethically.
