A Note on Wilt of Banana Caused by the Enset Wilt Organism Xanthomonas musacearum

Abstract

This note describes a naturally occurring wilt of banana (Musa spp.) caused by Xanthomonas musacearum. The banana wilt was first observed in Ehiopia's Kaffa Province on the Du Casse variety.
