This study provides an estimate for the risk of developing glaucoma after ocular contusion in a large cohort of patients and has determined several independently predictive factors that were significantly associated with the development of posttraumatic glaucoma including poor initial visual acuity, advancing age, lens injury, angle recession, and hyphema.
