This work deals with the environmental effects that could influence the active thermographic inspection of the inner structures of wind turbine rotor blades. The transmission of the atmosphere and the impact of wind currents are the main subjects in this study and will be examined through several experiments. The results of these experiments will be processed and their consequences on the method will be presented.
