Does TEVAR yield different in-hospital mortality and 5-year survival outcomes in complicated versus uncomplicated type B aortic dissection?
TEVAR provides comparable in-hospital mortality and 5-year survival for both complicated and uncomplicated type B aortic dissection, despite higher baseline comorbidities in complicated cases.
In our analysis we can appreciate that despite significantly higher comorbidities in the co-TBAD cohort, there was no difference in in-hospital mortality between the two groups and the 5-year survival did not have any difference.
