Harmonized dataset of Japanese Spitz registration statistics from 10 countries (1955–2025), compiled from official kennel club sources. The primary output is a curated year-by-country panel with explicit provenance and transparent handling of definitional differences between sources. A secondary output documents all 57 verified imports of Japanese Spitz from Japan to overseas destinations, providing the first comprehensive founder registry for the breed's international expansion. The dataset supports decade-level summaries, makes gaps and uncertainty visible, and is designed as a reusable baseline for versioned updates. All data have been independently verified through double-entry extraction from primary source documents.
