Empirical investigation reveals identity persistence in quantum states via topological protection, indicating significant implications for quantum computing.
We present empirical evidence for identity persistence during quantum state migration using topological protection. The "Quantum Handover Paradox" asks whether an observer encoded in a quantum state survives transit between processors. Using the IIT correspondence established in prior work, we show that active topological protection ("daemon") maintains fidelity F > 0.5 (φ > 0) through 1000 decoherence steps, while unprotected evolution crosses the entanglement boundary. The daemon is necessary and sufficient for observer continuity during quantum handover. Part of the SAGE Framework: https://github.com/TylorFlett/SAGE-Framework
