A rapid walkover survey was undertaken of the sites of cup marked stones in the site vicinity as logged in NRHE and the local HER. These were photographically recorded. A cup marked stone to the North of the development site apparently not recorded previously was photographed and located by the author along with a corn dying kiln. The excavations for the foundations of a proposed new building on site were monitored and recorded. A new cup marked stone and a corn drying kiln were recorded and located. The excavations for the new house foundations located nothing of archaeological interest with natural clay and bedrock being typically 0.50m below modern ground level. A boulder incised with decoration was located and retrieved during the demolition of a short stretch of boundary wall on site and will be reported to Treasure Trove.
