The main objective is to evaluate the returns and risk associated with the portfolios offered by these firms. The research is based on secondary data collected from financial reports of the companies and their stocks and stock prices from NSE & BSE websites.Various financial tools such as return analysis, standard deviation and Sharpe ratio are used to measure performance and risk-adjusted returns. The study adopts a descriptive and analytical approach to examine the trends and stability of returns over the selected period. It also highlights the investment strategies followed by both firms and their impact on portfolio outcomes. The findings of the study provide insights into the comparative performance of both portfolios, helping investors understand which option offers better returns with manageable risk. The study is useful for individuals seeking professional portfolio advisory services and supports informed investment decision-making. The study concludes that both Motilal Oswal and Chola Securities portfolios show consistent performance with balanced risk and return. Motilal Oswal demonstrates higher growth potential, while Chola Securities offers more stable returns. The risk analysis indicates that both portfolios are efficiently managed. However, the choice between them depends on the investor’s risk preference. Overall, proper portfolio management plays a key role in achieving long-term financial goals.
